Katie is currently a master’s candidate at Marymount University, obtaining her Master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Forensic and Legal Psychology. She holds two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Psychology and another in Criminology from NC State University. She is an intern at Counseling and Forensic Services, Inc. and has experience working with young adults and adolescents entering the justice system and individual counseling. Katie specializes with clients going through life changes, anxiety, depression, OCD and much more. She likes to incorporate mindfulness techniques into her sessions and strives to provide a warm and comfortable space for clients in order to work together on setting and achieving goals. She is passionate about helping individuals who are driven to make positive changes in their life and hopes to help her clients feel safe, secure and strong! Katie enjoys spending her free time with her mini goldendoodle, friends, and family!
