Jason is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington, D.C., and Virginia, and a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP). He earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health/Rehabilitation Counseling from The University of the District of Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Family & Consumer Science/Child Development from
South Carolina State University. Jason is also a National Certified Counselor and a Rehabilitation Counselor, and a member of the American Counseling Association.
With experience spanning various clinical and educational settings, including inpatient psychiatric facilities, private practice, and academic environments, Jason brings a well-rounded perspective to his work. His expertise includes working with court-mandated adults and adolescents, as well as non-justice-involved individuals.
Jason integrates a unique blend of evidence-based therapeutic interventions with life coaching. While therapy offers a client-led path to self-understanding and measurable change, his gentle integration of directive life coaching further empowers clients to achieve their goals and reach their greatest potential.
Jason’s areas of interest include assisting clients dealing with a broad range of struggles, including Anxiety, Anger, Self-Esteem Deficits, Mood Management, PTSD, Sexual Abuse, Sex Offender Treatment, Identity Issues, Substance Abuse and Court-ordered Treatment.
