M.A Resident in Counseling
Hi, I’m Aisha Lewis I’m a Resident in Counseling Counselor, but more than that, I’m a veteran, a military spouse, and a parent of two autistic children. These roles have shaped not only who I am but how I show up in the therapy room—with genuine empathy, real-world understanding, and a deep commitment to walking alongside my clients through hard things.
I work with adults and adolescents navigating depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, bipolar disorder, mood disorders and autism. I also have specialized experience supporting those that are of the LGBTQ+ identity, facing adolescent challenges, or managing the weight of parenting stress. In my couple’s work, I use the Gottman Method to help partners reconnect, and for those questioning their faith, I offer a compassionate space to explore doubt and spiritual change.
My approach pulls from CBT, DBT, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused strategies—but at its heart, it’s about meeting you where you are and helping you build the skills and insight to move forward. Whether you’re in crisis or simply ready for growth, I’m here to help you find balance and resilience.
