Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Melissa Jackson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Kentucky. She has experience working with a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns. Melissa approaches therapy from a holistic perspective, recognizing that life’s challenges can leave individuals feeling fragmented across physical, emotional, spiritual, and social domains. As a therapist, she partners with clients as a supportive guide throughout their therapeutic journey, helping them reconnect with their authentic selves and move toward greater balance and well-being.
Melissa utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, primarily drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and psychoanalytic perspectives. She also integrates elements of attachment-based work and shadow work to support deeper self-exploration and healing. Her approach is tailored to each individual, and she is especially passionate about working with clients who are motivated to create meaningful change and willing to persevere through the challenges that growth can bring.
