Ms. Laura Lubinski is a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia, specializing in trauma & victimization. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She attended the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington D.C. graduating with a Masters of the Arts in Forensic Psychology. Ms. Lubinski has completed a Master of Science degree in Strategic Security and Protection Management from Henley and Putnam University in 2017, and a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Intelligence from American Military University 2015. In 2000, Ms. Lubinski received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (Pre-Law) & Criminology, from Slippery Rock University.
Ms. Lubinski employs both cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic theory in her treatment modalities. Ms. Lubinski works with both adult and minor populations providing services in trauma, victimization, anger management, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, and addictions.
Her direct clinical experience has come from her work here with Counseling and Forensic Services, Inc., but was previously employed with the Department of Homeland Security as an operations specialist working with federal law enforcement teams specializing with behavioral detection. Ms. Lubinski is a 20-year Army veteran, seasoned in working with military members and their families.
