Jenny Sexton, a native of Virginia, who has been working in the field of mental health and addictions counseling for about18 years. Ms. Sexton holds credentials as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC), a Forensic Addiction Counselor (FAC), and a Qualified Mental Health Professional for Children (QMHP-C). Additionally, Ms. Sexton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology, with a minor in Administration of Justice, from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise; a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University; and a Career Diploma in Substance Abuse Counseling from Penn Foster college. Ms. Sexton works full time as a Substance Abuse Counselor for Arlington County Public Schools and see clients on a part-time basis with Counseling and Forensic services. Ms. Sexton serves as part of the Arlington Addiction Recovery Initiative Committee (AARI) and chairs the Drug and Nicotine Free Youth Task Force at Williamsburg Middle School. Ms. Sexton is also the Revive Overdose Prevent Educate (R.O.P.E.) trainer.
