Caitlyn Demers

Caitlyn Demers is a Master’s Level Counseling Intern at Counseling and Forensic Services. She is currently earning Master’s degrees in Forensic and Legal Psychology, and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University. She is a graduate of Saint Joesph’s College of Maine, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

Caitlyn’s areas of interests include domestic violence, sex offenders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stressors in adult and teen populations. She understands that seeking counseling, for the first time or returning to it, can be a difficult and intimidating period in someone’s life. Caitlyn believes that each client is unique and brings their own individual experiences to counseling. She believes in working with clients to tailor her approach to each individual client’s needs.

Upon graduation, Caitlyn plans to complete her residency with Counseling and Forensic and obtain her certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
