Life can be a crazy rollercoaster that everyone is on. It can be difficult to navigate all the twists and turns thrown at people. My goal is to be that support system for all my clients as they face various challenges. I’m passionate about helping people through difficult times and working together to develop coping mechanisms to help with life when it gets overwhelming.
I am currently an intern at Counseling and Forensics Services. I am attending The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and working toward getting my Master’s in Forensic Counseling. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychological Science from the University of Lynchburg. I enjoy working with clients from many different backgrounds. I am currently working with adults and adolescents with a variety of concerns. I am interested in working with Military members and Veterans. I want to help them on their mental health journey. I have both a professional and a personal interest in this population. I believe in working together to process the experiences and the symptoms that could negatively impact their life. It is very important to develop the best coping mechanisms for the symptoms and feelings that Military personnel and Veterans may experience. It can be scary to start counseling or return after some time away. My job is to meet all clients where they are in their counseling journey.
